Pairs
These cvc cards are great for so many games.
-We have played the traditional pairs game where they start turned over and each person takes it in turns to turn over a card and make a match.
-We have played a treasure hunt so we hid the picture cards and had the written cards on the desk.
-Or you can simply have them jumbled up the desk and they have to be matched into pairs.
I have done them on cars and flowers so they are a bit more appealing.
Links for both are below.

Mazes
These mazes were great fun. The idea is to help with blending the child needs to pick up the sounds as they go through the maze and when they get to the end they try to work out the word. Also great for some writing practice. I laminated them and got the children to use whiteboard pens so they could be reused.
